MUS2470Performance studies: early music ensemble(ART)
Carol Williams 6 points + 2 hours per week + Second semester + Clayton Synopsis: The subject is designed to provide an overview of the early music repertoire for study, listening and performance. It aims to foster an understanding of some of the issues and problems within the early music repertoire. It provides the foundation for an early music ensemble which functions simultaneously as a course for credit, a performance laboratory for a musicology curriculum and an extracurricular activity. Assessment: Exercise (1000 words): 20% + Essay (1500 words): 30% + Practical examination (1 hour): 10% + Ensemble performance (1 hour): 40% |
