Synopsis: Musical, aesthetic, social and ritual concepts and practices expressed in the musical life of Indonesian cultures, especially selected performances of music and dance, the relationships between music and the related arts, and the topology of musical instruments in Indonesia

Assessment: Essay (3500 words): 40% + Assignments (1500 words): 15% + Oral report: 15% + Two examinations (1 hour each): 30%
