Techniques for scientific computing

6 points + Two 1-hour lectures and an average of one 2-hour computer laboratory class and one 1-hour support class per week + Clayton + Second semester (odd numbered years) + Prerequisites: MTH1030 or equivalent + Prohibitions: MTH2042, MAT3052, ASP3132

Synopsis: As for MTH2042.

Assessment: As for MTH2042. Third-year students will be expected to exhibit a higher level of knowledge in this subject.
