Synopsis: Covers database design focusing on Microsoft Access and basic data analysis using SPSS statistical software. Students are expected to be familiar with Microsoft Word & Excel software programs and the fundementals of basic biostatistics i.e. t-tests & chi-squares. In practial sessions, students are encouraged to use their own laptop computers.

Assessment: Class participation + written assignments + Take-home style Examination
