6 points + 5 hours per week + Second semester + off campus distributed learning (with 15 contact hours over 3 days) + Caulfield General Medical Centre

Synopsis: Recognising and managing common occupational & environmental diseases and approaching less common problems in occupational medicine. Including diagnosis, investigation & treatment of common clinical problems, work capacity assessment, identifying return to work delay factors, communicating with patient & employer about the common problems in occupational medicine, methods of accessing up-to-date information, key issues in pre-placement medical examinations and health surveillance & biological monitoring.

Assessment: Assignment + Multiple choice/OSCE style examination
