6 points + 12 hours per week, including 1 lecture hour, 5 studio hours, and 6 hours of independent study + Second semester + Caulfield + Core for BDes(MMD) degree

Synopsis: This subject consolidates student's knowledge of multimedia design principles with a strong emphasis on the development of completed multimedia documents. Skills in using text, images, animation, sound and digital video in multimedia documents are combined with further understanding of methods for problem solving two-dimensional multimedia screen design. The view of multimedia design as a discipline is expanded through an awareness of the many different roles involved in the production of multimedia.

Assessment: Major project: 80% + Minor projects: 20%
