Associate Professor Helen De Cieri 6 points + First and second semester + Caulfield + 1.5-hour lecture and 1.5-hour tutorial per week + Distance, approximately 12 hours per week + Prerequisite: MGX1010 or MGX1300 Synopsis: Analysis of the global context for HRM, the strategic role of HRM, human resource planning, job design, staffing, performance management, development of employee capabilities, reward systems, legal issues in employment, HRM auditing, and the contribution of HRM to competitive advantage. Assessment: On campus: Short answer class test: 20% + Individual major paper (3000 words): 30% + Examination (3 hours): 50%. Distance: Two assignments: 50% + Examination (3 hours): 50% |
