MGC3310Governments, markets and globalisation(BUS)
Dr Deirdre O0Neill 6 points + Two 1-hour lectures per week and one 1-hour tutorial per week + Second semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: MGC2310 or MGC2320 or permission Synopsis: This subject provides an introduction to public policy and the policy process with particular reference to the Australian context. Topics include: theories of public policy; models of decision making; evaluation and implementation; roles of stakeholders and the impact of globalisation. Case studies will be analysed in this course. Assessment: Written (assignments 2500 words): 30% + Tutorial presentation: 10% + Examination (2 hours): 60% |
