MED2061Clinical and communication skills I(MED)
Dr V M Mansour (Physiology) and Dr B J Canny (Physiology) Synopsis: Over two semesters, students will be introduced to the basic elements of the taking of a medical history and learn skills of hands-on physical examination. There will be close integration between the theoretical information taught in /Cardiovascular and respiratory medicine0, and /Gastrointestinal medicine0 and the application of this information in /Clinical and communication skills0. The family study will focus on disease incidence and appreciation in the family, and the effect of lifestyle factors on disease.
