Synopsis: Using tutorial/discussion sessions, students will be instructed on how to prepare a high standard grant application to the stage that may be submitted, incorporating their literature review prepared on their chosen topic in Developments in Obstetrics & Gynaecology I. Throughout this subject students will complete the preparation of a high standard research proposal that can be submitted. Involvement in clinic and ward rounds associated with Obstetrics & Gynaecology will complement this task by augmenting the battery of clinical skills already gained in clinical practice.

Assessment: Preparation and oral defense of one high standard grant application to the stage that may be submitted: (55%) + Presentation of three oral case studies arising from ward rounds and clinic attendance: (45%)
