Synopsis: The subject will cover the international legal responses to major global and transboundary environmental problems (such as pollution and climate change, ozone depletion, biodiversity, marine pollution and the import and export of hazardous waste).

Assessment: Research assignment (4,000 words): 50% + take home examination: 50%
