Mrs T Bryant/Mr J Epstein/Ms K Ludlow 6 credit points + First/second semesters: three 1-hour lectures per week and 6 hours of drafting tutorials (optional) + Summer/first semester: Intensive (39 hours) + Clayton + Corequisites: LAW2100, LAW2200 Synopsis: The major steps in litigation. Using the Rules of the Supreme Court of Victoria, the chronology of a civil proceeding from the decision to sue until the matter is ready for trial. Assessment: First and summer semesters: Final examination: 100%. Alternatively final examination: 75% and either drafting test or research paper: 25% + Second semester: Class test: 25%. Final examination (3 hours): 75% or alternatively final examination: 50% and either case study or drafting pleadings exercise: 25% |
