Current issues in international environmental protection

6 credit points + 2nd semester + 2 hour seminar per week + City + Prerequisites: Prior studies in environmental law or international law or a comparable subject + Prohibited combinations: LAW5136

Synopsis: This subject will cover the international legal responses to major global and transboundary environmental problems (such as pollution and climate change, ozone depletion, biodiversity, marine pollution and the import and export of hazardous waste).

Assessment: Research paper (4000 words): 50% + 2-hour take home examination: 50%
