Synopsis: This subject provides a guided study of relevant literary and non-literary texts which focus on modern Israeli authors and issues dealing with Jewish cultural trends, audio-visual material, verbal and written communication and an exposure to literary criticism.

Assessment: 4 essays (2600 words total): 45% + Oral examination: 5% + Examination (2000 words): 50%
