Synopsis: Consolidation and extension of work begun in JWC1010. The subject exposes students to more challenging texts to sharpen their analytical skills and contribute to a better understanding of the Jewish cultural background and heritage.

Assessment: Written assignments (2500 words): 43% + Oral examination: 7% + Written examination (2000 words): 50%
