JPL2752Reading Japanese texts level C(ART)
Jun Yano 6 points + 4 hours per week + First semester + Clayton + Co-requisites: JPL2310 or equivalent + Prohibited combination: JPL3752 Synopsis: Provides students with the opportunity to improve their skills in reading and writing in Japanese, including development of their knowledge of kanji and understanding of written language styles and vocabulary. A range of texts, such as newspaper articles, essays and short stories will be utilised, organised around themes relating to Japanese culture and society. Assessment: Mid-semester examination (50 minutes): 15% + End-of-semester examination (2 hours): 35% + Class performance, including regular quizzes: 20% + Written assignments (equivalent to 1500 words): 30% |
