Synopsis: Advanced intermediate communication skills in written and spoken language integrating listening, speaking, reading and writing. Activities are built around subjects such as Japanese people0s lifestyles, Japanese history, cultural conflicts between Australian and Japanese, and students0 own topics for their speech.

Assessment: Final examination (2 hours): 30% + Aural and oral test: 20% + Assignments: 50%
