Modern Italian literature and society III

6 points + 3 hours per week + Second semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: ITA2080, ITA2020 or equivalent knowledge of the language

Synopsis: The subject examines the relationships between literary texts and social changes which have affected Italian women, the family and society in recent years. Through the readings of representative texts, students will gain an understanding of the recent connections between ideology, cultural models and forms of narrative discourse.

Assessment: Examination (2 hours): 40% + Two assignments (1500 words each): 50% + Seminar participation tasks: 10%
