Synopsis: The subject will consist of two components: (i) Language and (ii) Modern Italian in context.

Assessment: (i) Language (Continuous assessment, including periodic tests: 40% + End-of-semester test: 20%): 60% (ii) Modern Italian in context (Questionnaire: 7% + Minor assignment: 8% + 1500-word essay 15% + Final test: 10%): 40%
