INM2215Intermediate Indonesian, part 1(ART)
Susi Rekdale 6 points + 4 hours per week + First semester + Gippsland and distance + Distance Education students are required to attend a weekend school or consult the subject adviser +Prerequisites: INM1125, VCE Indonesian or equivalent Synopsis: This subject develops and consolidates further students ability to communicate in the Indonesian language through three distinct learning formats: a one hour lecture/workshop which provides students with an approach to researching current Indonesian cultural and political issues with the aim of providing a series of briefings for a general audience; two one hour practicals which provide speaking and listening practice across a wide range of everyday communicative tasks; and a one hour tutorial which develops knowledge of language forms and the translation process within the context of a series of readings on cultural and political themes. Assessment: Oral presentation (10 minutes): 20% + Media portfolio (800 words): 20% + Language task (150 words): 10% + Examination (2 hours): 50% |
