48 points + Alfred Hospital + Prerequisites: Entry is based on performance in third-year level Immunology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Physiology, Pharmacology or Anatomy subjects according to Faculty of Science requirements.

Synopsis: Students will complete a laboratory-based research project in an area of immunology, cell biology or pathology. The project is accompanied by a tutorial-based, flexible course-work component that encourages self-directed learning. Students will develop communication skills through oral presentations and writing a thesis and essays.

Assessment: Written and oral reports on the research project: 80% + Research paper colloquium and essays: 20%
