Major project (Industrial Design) Part Two

(A&D)

18 points + 36 hours per week including at minimum 4 formal class hours + Second semester + Caulfield + Prerequisites: IDE4107 + Core for BID

Synopsis: This subject is the second part of the major project sequence and students are expected to continue with the research initiated in IDE4107, and develop a time frame which details prototype construction in consultation with a supervisor and the course coordinator. The project must have appropriate aspects to serve as a vehicle to demonstrate the student's professional understanding and capabilities as well as appropriatte complexity to enable the student to professionally undertake and present it within the time and resource limitations of the subject. All documentation must be completed to a professional standard.

Assessment: Mid semester:20% + Final portfolio:80%
