Special subject 1: first semester

12 points + 2-hour seminar per week + First semester + Clayton

Synopsis: There will be several subjects in each semester offering study in depth of specific topics. Details of the subjects offered will be made available by the department. Students may choose to study either one special subject or two with the condition that those taking two special subjects must choose them from different subject areas.

Assessment: Essays and reports (7000 words): 70% + Examination (2 hours): 30%
