Synopsis: As part of the requirement of the Institution of Engineers, Australia for all engineering degree programs, students complete a total of twelve weeks of industrial experience. This experience is normally gained during the Christmas vacation periods between second and third years, and third and fourth years. A formal report on the experience is submitted on completion.
