Synopsis: The use and interpretation of numerical information. Students will develop skills in accessing, interpreting and presenting such data. Research methods used to collect information. The process of coding information to create a data set. Some techniques that can be used to extract meaning from the data. Appropriate methods of reporting the results.

Assessment: Secondary analysis of ABS data assignment: 30% + Minitab assignment: 40% + Exam: 30%
