GEG4007Engineering project II(ENG)
J R Jarvis 6 points + 150 hours project work + First/Second semester, Gippsland/Distance + Prerequisite: GEG4006 Synopsis: Students undertake a project related to a realistic industrial problem or a specific area of research, planning, developing and executing a solution over a period of 15 weeks and presenting the findings in an oral presentation and final detailed written report. Project topics are agreed in consulation with a campus-based supervisor. Where projects are carried out in conjunction with an outside body, an industry-based supervisor is also appointed. Students are expected to maintain close contact with their supervisors and are required to keep a logbook and present a final report detailing the outcome of the project at the end of the semester. Assessment: Logbook: 25% + Final report: 60% + Oral presentation: 30% |
