GCO2601Electronic commerce systems - analysis and design(IT)
John Hewson; Malaysia: Mr Thomas O'Daniel 6 points + 4 hours per week + First semester + Gippsland, Malaysia, distance + Prohibitions: GCO1813, GCO2852 + not available to Bachelor of Computing students. Synopsis: Information systems theory, analysis and design applied to business and electronic commerce systems. The systems approach to solving problems in business and the practice of electronic commerce. The systems lifecycle of business processes in relation to electronic commerce; requirements analysis; alternatives to the traditional systems development lifecycle; information gathering, data flow representations and data dictionaries; systems design principles; equipment and suplier options, program selection and design; implementation strategies; management of the development process.
