Assessment: Visual test (300 words in French): 15% + Individual presentation (in French): 20% + Group seminar presentation (in French): 15% + Essay (1000 words in French): 20% + Essay (1500 words in French): 30% + Third-year students will be expected to demonstrate broader reading and a more sophisticated level of analysis of theoretical issues of genre and the particular genre in relation to the essays
