Synopsis: This subject progresses from the previous FNA1601 with a greater emphasis on encouraging individual direction and development. Advanced technical skills are developed through set projects which will focus on foundry techniques (lost wax casting), mould-making and scaling-up procedures. Aesthetic, conceptual and theoretical issues will also be investigated with each exercise.
