Topics include funding, efficiency and quality in education, equity in educational resource distribution; teachers and the economy; education and the needs of the economy; education and unemployment; education and income; research skills.

Assessment: Participation: 10% + Report (2000 words): 30% + Seminar presentation (4000 words): 60%
