Synopsis: Topics include the impact of the school effectiveness, school improvement and school reform movements on educational structures and processes, moving from second millennium to third millennium schools, working in the global classroom, teacher effectiveness and student achievement, student engagement, leadership issues for effectiveness and improvement, managing complex change and staff health and welfare.

Assessment: Presentation and report (2000 words): 50%; Essay (3000 words): 50%
