Synopsis: How the socio-politico-economic context shapes vocational education and training and work-related learning. The development of pedagogical practices relating to adult learners in the workplace. Critical and feminist pedagogies, action learning, flexible delivery, instructional design, self-paced and self-directed learning, continuing professional education, work-based learning and other approaches useful to adults involved in work-related learning. Case studies of exemplary practice.

Assessment: Two written assignments (3000 words each): 100% + Class presentations
