Synopsis: Sociological and historical approaches to the study of education. This unit will be useful for students working in primary, secondary, tertiary and other professional education and training who wish to extend their understanding of education and society as a basis for policy and practice.

Assessment: Journal: 25% + Research paper (6000 words): 75%
