EDF5426Methods and practice of teaching business studies IA(EDU) Proposed to be offered next in 2002 Ms A Forsyth 6 points + 3 hours per week + First semester + Gippsland (off-campus) + Prerequisites: A minor sequence (two years of study) in Accounting or Economics or Legal Studies or Business Studies/Business Management from a recognised tertiary institution Synopsis: This unit is an introduction to the relationships between learning and teaching Business and Commerce related units at the secondary school level. Teaching strategies and contexts for use in Business and Commerce related classes in Years 7 to 12 will be explored. Methods for assessing and monitoring students will be introduced. The relationship between teaching business studies, technology and society will be a focus. Assessment: Assignments: 70%, Resources file: 30% |
