Associate Professor L Angus 6 points + 2 hours per week + Second semester + Flexible delivery across Clayton, Peninsula Synopsis: In the context of an adult education and training market and increased reliance on competitive funding, adult educators have assumed new roles and responsibilities in project management. This subject aims to expose students to a range of key issues, strategies and techniques relevant to the management of adult learning and development projects. A strong emphasis is placed on the acquisition of practical skills involved in all aspects and phases of project management. Assessment: Assignment 1: Develop a project management plan and implementation strategy (1,500 words) 40%; Assignment 2: Class presentation (500 word equivalence) 10%; Assignment 3: Evaluation report (2,000 words) 50% |
