EDF3231Computer control(EDU) Not offered in 2001 Dr G Russell 6 points + 2 hours per week + Second semester + Peninsula Synopsis: This subject is designed to provide students with an introduction to the theoretical and practical aspects of computer-control technology, together with its characteristics and applications. Students will gain practical knowledge and experience in the creation of computer-controlled devices, and the programming of such models. Students will have the opportunity to design, research, construct and evaluate computer controlled models. Assessment: Report based on personal learning journal and professional reading: 30%; Group presentation of Control Technology Project: 20%; Examination (2 hours): 50% |
