EDF2233Conservation and environmental issues(EDU) Not offered in 2001 Dr K Malone 6 points + 2 hours per week + Second semester + Peninsula Synopsis: The conservation of wildlife and environmental problems faced by humans. Students investigate the conservation of species, habitats and biodiversity in studies of local marine wildlife conservation projects such as seahorse and seadragon captive breeding programs and local marine protected areas. Similar approaches are taken with environmental issues. Major environmental issues studied include global warming, ozone depletion, pollution and population.
