To be advised 6 points + Gippsland, distance + 12 hours per week + Second semester + Prerequisites: ECG9102, ECG9120 Synopsis: The theory and practice of institutional changes in economic mechanisms, including forms of ownership and governmental regulation and deregulation of the public and corporate sectors. Special attention is to be given to analysing issues of privatisation and deregulation in Australia from the point of view of contemporary economic theory. Assessment: Essay (4000 words): 40% + 2 hours written examination: 60 % |
