Equivalent to two fourth-year level subjects + Irregular availability + Clayton + Students may be permitted to start the essay prior to the commencement of the academic year in February. These students should consult the coordinator of economic history in December

Synopsis: Students who specialise in economic history are encouraged to attempt a research essay which must be based on primary sources of information on a topic of their choice, subject to the supervisor0s agreement. The work will be supervised by a member of the department.
