Topics include the transition to modern economic growth; the /economic miracle0 1950 to the 1990s; the role of government; the industrial organisation of zaibatsu-keiretsu groupings; Australian economic history since 1945; the fortunes of the rural export industries; decline and restructuring of manufacturing; Australia0s economic relations with Japan since 1945.
