Synopsis: DGN2103 and DGN2104 are the key subjects for developing practical design research and practice capabilities. The focus is on design research and design management of multi and interdisciplinary projects. A range of design factors are considered and methodologies are employed to achieve a holistic design that addresses human needs. The projects will be set in a variety of contexts.

Assessment: Exercises: 10% + Minor Project: 20% + Major Project: 70%
