Synopsis: Information resource management. Data administration: role and functions, DA in the systems development lifecycle, tools and techniques used in DA, information modelling, benefits of the DA function, implementation plan, implementation problems, place in the organisation, and industry practice. Future of IRM, standard and new developments in information resource dictionary systems.
