Synopsis: This unit aims to develop an understanding of the inter-relationship between health status and rural health. You will consider the application of the broad principles of occupational health and safety in agriculture (ie: farm health and safety) and in a number of other rural industries. As you work through the 12 topics, you will develop both an understanding of current rural occupational health and safety issues and the relevant principles used to effectively address current and future occupational health and safety problems.
