Rural road and water engineering

Synopsis: Introduce fundamentals and role of road engineering theory and practice and related water engineering topics. Examine a number of issues related to the planning, design and construction of rural roads, including; road planning, the road traffic environment, design parameters, flood estimation, bridge and waterway hydraulics, design form, road geometric design, road construction and road environment safety.

Assessment: Examination: 40% + Assignments: 60%
