6 points + 3 hours per week + First semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: A credit in Advanced Intermediate Chinese part 2 or permission + Prohibition: CHI4559

Synopsis: The usage of Chinese for professional purposes through participation in the production of Xue Hanyu (Learning Chinese), an English-Chinese newspaper, or equivalent. Entry is limited to twelve places per semester.

Assessment: Written (4000 Chinese characters): 50% + Editorial work: 30% + Advertisement design: 20%
