Advanced intermediate Chinese, Part 1

6 points + 4 hours per week + First semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: CHI2220 or permission + Prohibition: CHI1310, CHI2310

Synopsis: This subject will introduce students to advanced intermediate spoken and written standard Chinese. In addition to regular classroom activities, listening and speaking skills will be further developed through project work with a focus on Chinese culture.

Assessment: Continuous assessment including class participation, presentations and written assignment : 55% + Examination: 30% + Oral examination: 15%.
