Selected topics in dynamic simulation and control

Synopsis: Modelling non-linear dynamic systems; abstracting linearized model parameters and the use of these to design control schemes based on linear dynamic theory; design of non-linear control algorithms; sensitivity of the latter to modelling errors.

Assessment: Examination: 70% + Assignments: 30%
