Synopsis: Projects in contempory organisations. Project selection. The project manager: characteristics, responsibilities, techniques. The project team and its organisation. Project planning: budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation. Project management information systems: monitoring, control. Project auditing. Project termination. Information systems project management. Project management software aids.

Assessment: Examination (2 hours): 80% + Assignments: 20% + Students must pass the examination in order to pass the subject.
