Synopsis: Legal, taxation and regulation aspects of the effective utilisation of people within organisations, including compliance planning, job analysis, recruitment and selection, performance appraisal, training and career development, remuneration; human resource development; legal, taxation and regulation issues arising in international HRM, expatriates, remuneration, international operations.

Assessment: Assignment (2500 words): 30% + Examination (open-book, 3 hours): 70%
