Clinical dietetics 4

(MED)

6 points + 6 hours per week contact + 6 hours private study + First Semester + Prerequisites: Completion of Years 1, 2 and 3 of the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or its equivalent

Synopsis: The student will spend the majority of time with patients/clients under clinical supervision, gaining professional competence and confidence incrementally with increasingly difficult case loads and assumption of increasing patient responsibility. The abilities to communicate clearly with patients, health care team staff, clinical supervisors and other students will be an essential skill developed during the course of these subjects, aided by continuous feedback assessment from the clinical supervisors in the networks and community agencies.

Assessment: Examination: 40% + Case study:30% + Report: 30%
